Our annual Women's Retreat will be on September 19-21 at Dunrovin Retreat Center near Stillwater. We will gather at 6:30pm on Friday evening and will wrap up before lunch on Sunday. This retreat is a great time for rejuvenation, encouragement, connecting with others, and worshipping together. You’ll hear from a speaker, Deacon Leah, during a few sessions over the weekend. During free time, you could take advantage of Dunrovin’s hiking trails, canoes, fireplaces, nearness to picturesque Stillwater, or you could decide to rest.

The cost is $220 per person, but partial and full scholarships are available—we want you to join us without cost being a barrier.

You could fish (bring your own gear), head out on the boat, or just enjoy the evening on land with fellowship around the fire pit. Some snacks and drinks are provided, but please bring more to share. An author who loves the Word of God and has served most of her life in full-time ministry has written a book using poignant life experiences paired with Scripture and questions for discussion. Join Cindy S. starting this fall for a study entitled "Heart Reflections." Cindy will guide this discussion, which will be held in the church library on select Saturday mornings. If you desire the sacrament of baptism for yourself or your child, please be in touch with Pastor Christian or Pastor Andrea to join our upcoming baptism class. We do require a pastoral meeting before baptizing a child, but you can come whether you intend to have your child baptized or not. Additionally, if you are new to Anglican practice or wondering about these offerings for your family, please consider attending this Baptism Class. Christian will lead with Andrea Lang as we discuss baptism in the context of the Bible, history, and church practices.

All Youth (7th-12th graders) are invited to join our Fall Retreat at Covenant Pines. These retreats are really important because they provide a great opportunity to spend time together having fun, sharing stories, making new stories, and growing more as the family of God. Of course, they also provide special time for Bible study, prayer, and worship together. Registration costs $150 per person, but we have scholarships available. Advent begins today, so let’s prepare for the season by making our own Advent wreaths! Join us after either service down in Great Hall. We will provide the greens, wire, and candles (for free). We will only have one Sunday morning service at 10 AM. We will still have our usual time for worship, Scripture readings, prayers, communion, and the like. However, it’s our annual tradition when, instead of a sermon, those attending can share brief testimonies of thanksgiving about God’s work in their lives. Please consider what you could share!
We will have two Sunday services, as usual, at 9am and 10:45am. Each service will include our usual worship, liturgy, and communion. After each service, we will serve birthday cake, coffee, and bouncy-house fun on the front lawn to celebrate our 21 years in ministry.

We will be hosting a party on our front lawn for our congregation and the surrounding neighborhood. There will be food, games, a bouncy house, and much merriment. This is an opportunity to get to know those who live near our building and express to them our thankfulness for this neighborhood. Please plan on coming, and pray for a good response as we send out invitations in August. If you'd like to help out at the event, please let us know in this form.
We will host a meeting in the sanctuary to share some church updates, vote to approve new vestry members, and pray and worship together as we celebrate our 21st birthday (that's right, our church will officially be an adult). You can stick around after the meeting for the Neighborhood Party.

Godly Play has been a cornerstone of our children’s ministry for over a decade, inspiring our approach to ministry with children in all of our offerings in Kids of the Cross. Annually, we host a training and retreat in collaboration with our local Anglican Churches. This year, we will gather at Restoration Anglican on August 16 for this immersive day. Please consider joining us if you are a volunteer with children, a parent, a faith parent, or an interested parishioner; it would be our delight to bless you with this training and retreat. This year, we will consider the Kingdom of God through four parables: The Lost Coin, The Treasure Field, The Prodigal Son, and The Lost Sheep. We'll learn that we're all looking for treasure, sometimes in the wrong place, but when we find the love of God, it's worth everything! We will sing and play and create joyful memories together. Please make sure to register if your child is going to participate. Knowing numbers ahead of time helps us prepare. 😊
