Before the holiday season begins, Church of the Cross is hosting a service to remember and give thanks for those we love who have died. It will be a time to both grieve and celebrate as we prepare our hearts for entering the Advent and Christmas seasons. It is to honor both those who have passed away recently or a while ago, and both those who died after many years or right at the beginning of their lives. This contemplative service will include the celebration of communion and a time to name together those who have died. Please consider inviting a friend or family member who is grieving or someone who would welcome a sacred space to celebrate the memory of a cherished person.

Advent begins today, so let’s prepare for the season by making our own Advent wreaths! Join us after either service down in Great Hall. We will provide the greens, wire, and candles (for free).
