It is hard to sort out politics in our polarized world, and it isn’t getting any easier. Mark your calendars because Cross is planning something to help.
On October 13 (7-8 pm) you are invited you to come to Cross for an evening of conversation. Led by members of our congregation, there will be a chance to discuss what we heard in “Politics and the Common Life” and begin exploring what it means to be faithful in Christian political stewardship. Come with your questions and a desire to love one another and honor Christ as Lord of all—including our politics. To join us in person on October 13, sign up here: https://reopen.church/r/gRAUzjev. To join us online go to our live video page, or watch on Facebook.
October 7 (6-7:15 pm)—you are invited to be part of “Politics and the Common Life: A Conversation about Faithful Political Engagement with Justin Giboney, Michael Wear & Cherie Harder.” This online event is sponsored by Anselm House, a ministry supported by Church of the Cross. It's free—register here: https://anselmhouse.org/events/politics/
