You are invited to our upcoming event, Bringing Our Strengths to Our Mission and Work. (You can read this email for more details, or just watch the video.)

As a church, we are currently in a season of Gathering and Planting. We are coming back together after various forms of separation over the last year, and we are planting a new church as well. As we've said before, through this new season, we're asking everyone to take some time to discern with God and community how you are called to engage or re-engage over the next months and beyond. This class will be a helpful step in this process.

Two important things--we do have childcare for this time (just sign up to join us and fill out the question about childcare). And, there will be delicious donuts from Cardigan Donuts. Even coffee too.

Our time on Saturday will be divided into two sections. First, we will explore the StrengthsFinder together as we consider how we can engage with our strengths and gifts. This is a great tool that helps explain not only how we work or serve or even sometimes relate with others, but it can help us think about how to do those things in a way that is best for who we are. It's honestly a lot of fun, it can be a bit eye-opening about ourselves (and those we're in relationship with) and if you've never done it, you'll definitely enjoy it. The second part of our day will be taken up with learning more about the various ministry areas of Church of the Cross, and also Resurrection Anglican. We will divide into small groups, move around the building, and learn briefly about each ministry and how we can be involved or support that ministry. This is an excellent opportunity to better understand how our church works, but also see new ways that you could engage in our community. As we are Gathering and Planting, we have many needs and are excited to help you join us serving with your strengths and gifts.
