Hello, Church of the Cross Family!

Temperatures continue to drop and more snow is on the horizon. Many men, women, and families in our communities do not have the warm clothing needed to handle Minnesotan winters.

As a way of giving back this holiday season, we are collecting winter clothing for our ministry partner, New Life Family Services. Here's what you need to know about this season's fundraising drive:

• Their greatest needs are for children’s coats age 0-8 and for infant snowsuits 0-6 months.

• **We will take them new or gently used!**

• Please drop them off at Church of the Cross to donate.

• The drive will go from now until Sunday, December 13. Please bring us your donations by that Sunday so we can deliver the coats to New Life.

• Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Can I donate more than one winter coat?
Absolutely! You can donate as many winter coats as your family would like.

Where can I find winter coats to donate?
Several retailers are offering Black Friday deals early. You can check online or in-store at places like Target or Costco for some great deals on winter clothing!

Where do we need to bring the winter coats?
Please bring your winter coat(s) to Church of the Cross between now and Sunday, December 13. We will have a dedicated collection space in the conference room for you to place the donations.

Can we drop off donations outside service hours?
Yes! However, if you are dropping by outside of our service hours, please give us a call first at 952-933-3686.

What if I want to donate a coat, but I can't get it to church in time?
If you want to donate a new coat, you can order online and have it shipped to the church's address (201 9th Avenue North, Hopkins, MN 55343). To ensure it's delivered properly, try and choose a delivery date of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. If you want to donate a gently used coat that you can't get to church, please email skylar@ofthecross.org.
