I make woodblock prints and paintings to serve as visual reminders of the beauty, mystery, and wonder found in God’s immense and intricate creation.
Artist Bio
I began my art journey as an illustrator, working with publishing houses, design firms, and advertising agencies. Then I began to be represented in art galleries in the West and Midwest and started selling through my website as well.
As an illustrator, I first worked in pen and ink and scratchboard, but soon shifted to woodblock printmaking as my primary medium, also doing some watercolor and oil paintings.
In college, I studied the natural sciences, earning a BS in Biology from Wheaton College, IL. I also took art courses at Wheaton, the University of Minnesota, and Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
